Of course, we are praying for a complete healing. But we also realize that may not be God's will...
No one said that our lives as Christians would be without trial or turmoil.
"But praise be to God who gives us strength to overcome through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57I have been in awe of my beloved husband this past week...he has been a testimony to God's most amazing Grace. If you would, please pray for my Sweet Hubby, Steve. I am grateful.
Last week I started "Music Monday" so it is fitting that the song I chose for today is by one of our favorite groups.
Praise You In This Storm ~ Casting Crowns
We are facing a pretty big storm right now...but we serve a bigger God and we know He is holding us close right now. We feel it. We've seen it. He WILL be glorified.
While we were in the hospital (I say "we" because I was allowed to stay 24/7) one song kept playing over and over in my head. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, I would hear the song. I'll close today's blog with it. All other ground is sinking sand...Peace to you all.

Gigi, my continued prayers will be going up daily for your husband. Also, I love your blog! Great job!
Gigi, you never cease to amaze me on how strong you are. Steve as well! You both have continually been in my thoughts.
GIGI,
I am praying and believe with you. On mothers day weekend, my sister in law Sandy, who we were all over there for a family dinner, about 50 of us. We are very close family, and Sandy 47, was to have her kidney removed in 2 days, the doctors said it had a cancerous tumor. BUT, 5 of us who believe in the Power of God, took her in the bedroom and prayed for her.Her mom, and sisters and I. And we declared and all agreed if there was cancer, it had to go, and we expected a good report to come out of this. We refused an evil report. God is a good God. So 2 days later, they took out her kidney, and after tests, the Drs were amazed that it was not cancerous. They were 99% sure before.Praise God.She had a benign tumor, that they said could of been there for years. Not only was she delivered from Cancer, but a chronic back problem she had for years had totally left her, and she feels wonderful now.. Remember in Romans, Abraham was fully persuaded that God was able to do what He promised and God Accounted it to Him for righteousness.Expect a good report! Our confidence and persuasion comes from the Lord. When I am weak, He is strong!
Blessings,
Cathie
Emily - thank you...for EVERYTHING. You have started a tidal wave and I am grateful.
Bridgett - thank you for thinking of us and for all the texts while we were in the hospital. Our strength comes from the Lord!!! I don't know what we would do without Him...
Cathie - thank you for your prayers and for standing with us on God's promises. It is hard at times not to have a "spirit of fear" but I remind myself continually that fear comes NOT from God. 2 Corinthians 12:9 is my favorite scripture verse and I repeat it often...Yes!!! His GRACE IS sufficient for us and His power IS made PERFECT in our weakness!! Amen!
