I changed it

My cell phone ringtone that is...

After having Third Day's Cry Out to Jesus forever, yesterday I changed to a different song.

The past week has been an emotional one. Missing my Sweet Hubby beyond what I thought possible. My Mom. A furnace that quit working. And so it goes.

I heard this song on the radio the other day and mentally I just said, "yeah."

So here's today's Music Monday song...**remember to scroll down and pause my player before clicking the link**

Homesick ~ Mercy Me

I close my eyes and I see your face...

"I lie awake. I have become like a lonely bird on a housetop." Psalm 102:7

Praying for you today, Gigi. May you find refuge in our God whose steadfast love endures forever. "In you O Lord, do I take refuge..." Psalm 31:1

Oh, Gigi, I am in tears after hearing that song and thinking of you. I can't, because I've not lost my sweet hubby, but I can feel your pain and loss in your song choices. I'm glad you found this one and may it give you peace in the midst of your sadness.

Gigi,
The lyrics of a song can touch our hearts and say what we feel inside....you my dear friend have my prayers and love always.

One moment at a time trust in Jesus. I know you do this, Gigi. Even when you feel weak and failing, you are strong and successful in Jesus. I know this doesn't help right now. But in eternity this does matter. Blessings and Prayers,
Vicki

Oh dear Gigi, just think how happy a day it will be when you cross the Jordan and (as in the last photo) your sweet hubby turns around with one big smile and open arms....along side Jesus himself.
