So today's Music Monday is for our children...James, Jennifer and Matthew. **Remember to scroll down and pause my player before clicking the links**
First, for our sons...
Finally Home ~ Mercy Me
I love the verse in that song about the "voices of the angels." I know my Sweet Hubby is singing in the heavenly choir - praising God for all he's worth...and he had such a beautiful voice...
And now, for our daughter...when this song came out, I remember how deeply it moved me. Even more now.
Dance With My Father ~ Luther Vandross
"Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord." Colossians 3:20
"When Jacob finished giving these instructions to his sons, he pulled his feet into his bed. He took his last breath and joined his ancestors in death. Joseph threw himself on his father, cried over him, and kissed him." Genesis 49:33, 50:1

I can only begin to imagine how much they miss him!
Still praying for you AND your family...I know this is a very hard time... and that even though he's in a better place, they and you still miss him very much.
Hope you have a good week
Love, and thanks for your visits to my blog lately and for the nice comments.
Jess
I hope and pray that you continue to draw your strength from the Lord.
We lost my wife's sister to cancer a couple of weeks ago. She was just 41.
I've got a group of friends together who will take part in a week of long distance cycling in October to raise funds for cancer research.
Cancer has touched way too many lives.
Words could never express the pain and sorrow of losing the father of your children and a beloved husband...Steve was an awesome Dad and husband...I pray that God will comfort you all...much love, M

Hi Gigi. It's hard to find words to comfort you. I just pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you and hold you near right now, and fill you with His love.
Love and big hugs,
Diane
