My girl

I thought maybe it was time for a Marloo update...I can't believe I've only had Miss LuLu for 3 weeks - it's as if she's been here forever!

Our days are quiet, nights even more so. She is so laid back and ever at my side. I'm grateful to have her in my life.

And then there's this one that melts my heart every time I see it...

"A friend loves at all times..." Proverbs 17:17

It doesn't take them long to make themselves at home in our hearts, does it? It's not hard at all to love someone who idolizes you, and when you are their world. :o)

Have a good weekend, Gigi.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Great photos.
I wonder what our animals think about us tucking them in and spoiling them.

It sure doesn't Diane! She walked in and she was "home!"

I think she loves being spoiled (and I, of course, love spoiling her!) but she does the "tucking in" herself!! Sometimes she prefers to wiggle her way under her bed and that's one of the photos I snapped!

Gigi,
Speaking of wigling under the bed. Wyatt, my 80lb. Golden Retriever, went under the bed last night.

Wyatt often tosses his pillow around and his blanket. While he does this, he bounces off of the side of the bed. I woke last night, to this banging against the bed. So, I said, "Stop it, Wyatt". He did.

Something told me to look over the bed. I saw Wyatt's head coming from under the bed. The bed is only about 8" off of the floor. So, I had to wake Vicki and get her out of the bed so I could lift the bed and set Wyatt free.

Awww...poor Wyatt! But what a rude awakening, huh?! LuLu got me up twice during the night - 2:30 and 4:38. I think the anesthesia from getting her teeth cleaned on Wednesday gave her an upset stomach. Poor thing...

I know. We always feel helpless when our pets feel bad. Sometimes, what is good medicine for us is not so good for the dog.

Animals can be such a comfort and joy. Jim and I have a golden retriever, 2 rabbits, a white dove, a lobster, and several fish. We used to have frogs.

Wow Jim and Vicki ~ you have quite the houseful! I'm sure they all bring you much pleasure and happiness!

LuLu's dental cleaning was a condition of her adoption...when she was brought in and assessed by the vet, they determined that she needed the cleaning. I had to agree to it, pay for it and sign a document that I would make and keep the appointment for her. They mean business!!

Thankfully, it's behind us now. And hopefully her tummy will settle down SOON!!
