Hallelujah!

After 33 days in the hospital following a middle-of-the-night fall in which she fractured both her coccyx (tailbone) and her pelvis in two places, my Mom is finally back at home!

She still has some rehabbing to do and the bones still have some mending to do, but all things considered - we are counting our blessings!

The time has come for me to share my experience at the Extraordinary Women conference that I attended in May. So, I'll be working on that post and you'll be seeing it soon. Very soon. In the meantime, I'll share this with you...just to kind of get your feet wet, so to speak! I'll explain the connection in my next post. ;)

A psalm of David. Honor the LORD, you heavenly beings; honor the LORD for his glory and strength. Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. The voice of the LORD echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The LORD thunders over the mighty sea. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.
Psalm 29:1-4 NLT

I've missed you here so much! I am so thankful for your mom's progress.

I love Chonda Pierce - her book about second row, piano side resonated with me so much as a p.k. in a large family with no money! I couldn't believe recently when I found she'd been suffering with depression, but God is helping her. It's hard to be a comic with depression~

Looking forward to your next post.

Praising God with you that your mom is doing better. I know how hard that one is!

I couldn't see your video....it just didn't load....that, or I didn't wait long enough.

Dawn ~ thank you! I've missed posting, but have been busy with my Mom and well...exhausted beyond that! I love Chonda too...her latest book, "Laughing in the Dark: A Comedian's Journey Through Depression," is achingly and beautifully written - yet still Chonda! How kind of her to share her journey.

Nancy Grayce ~ Yes, we are full of praise for the work He has done, once again, in my Mom's life!! Please try the video again...I checked it and it's working on my end, so I hope you'll be able to see it.
